Villa Aurora is located in the small village Slivno, Imotski, in the central part of Dalmatia region.
The villa was built of traditional stone and dates to 1911 but was recently renovated. It is located only 13 km from the city of Imotski, 20 km from the city of Makarska, 44 km from the city of Omiš and 65 km from the city of Split, the capital of Dalmatia region.

On the ground floor of the main house there is a fully equipped modern kitchen with a dining room and a living room, a bathroom, and a Turkish sauna. There is also a charming tavern on the ground floor, where you can reach for a bottle of local premium wines at any moment. On the first floor, we offer three rooms that have exit onto a beautiful outdoor terrace in the shade of vines, which is the perfect place to enjoy summer evenings.
Villa Aurora is a simple and peaceful traditional stone cottage house with exceptional content for vacation of an individual and/or family, where after your stay you will not dream of castles or paradise, because you already have the perfect location that will make you overjoyed.
This property is connected by a large grassy garden where you can enjoy an afternoon coffee or play with your pet. At any time, you can reach for freshly picked fruit from the garden or prepare a delicious grill on a traditionally stoned grill.
The villa is designed as a spa centre that has a Turkish sauna, a heated outdoor pool and a jacuzzi. The outdoor terraces of the country house will suit you for mingling and entertainment.
As you walk out from the summer terrace, there is a fully equipped summer kitchen where you can enjoy your own gastronomic exhibitions. Next to the summer kitchen, there is a beautiful outdoor pool with a jacuzzi.
The second house also offers you a small fully equipped kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with a view of the central part of the villa.
Villa Aurora has several terraces where you can enjoy actively or passively, by drinking your favourite drink, playing table tennis and/or table soccer. On one of the terraces of the villa, you can lie on a hand-made net boat, which is ideal for night meditation with a view of the starry sky.
Upon arrival, our guests will be greeted with delicious bites of local specialties and refreshing drinks with a welcome from the hosts of villa Aurora. We also like to pleasantly surprise our guests during their stay with small gifts that can include homemade cake or vegetables and fruit from our kitchen or garden. Konoba Villa Aurora is archived with autochthonous wines from Grabovac Winery, the first private winery in the Imotski Vinogorje area that inherits a 200-year-old family tradition of grape and wine production.
Our guests get a discount on the prices of the restaurant Izletište Bikina Konoba, and at the same time a discount for a guided tour of the Grabovac winery, wine tasting and purchase.
We are also offering you private parking in the villa Aurora olive grove so that you can fully relax and enjoy your vacation.
For an active vacation in this area, there are numerous attractions and activities such as tours of the wine route of the Imotski region and the natural phenomena of the Red and Blue Lakes. The Biokovo mountain nature park is located nearby, and it is suitable for hiking, walking in the forest or visiting the famous "Skywalk" viewpoint in shaped as a horseshoe with a glass floor and a panoramic view of the Makarska Riviera.
Makarska riviera offers you to experience the joys of the sea on the most beautiful pebble beaches of the Dalmatian coast, and the scents of the pine forest that surrounds them. Additionally, numerous trips to the Dalmatian islands of Brač and Hvar and water sports such as windsurfing, diving, jet skiing, parasailing are offered. When traveling from the Makarska Riviera towards the capital of Dalmatia, Split, an inevitable location for additional entertainment, the city of Omiš, should be visited.
The city of Omiš is a historically pirate city that you will fall in love with at first sight after seeing the unique combination of sea, mountain, and river. A tour of Omiš will take you on a trip through the Cetina canyon, and you can choose rafting, free climbing, canyoning or kayaking. For supporters of a little stronger adrenaline, you will pick the Zipline by "flying" through the air at a speed of over 70 km/h or paragliding where you can fly freely like a bird enjoying the wonderful panorama and landscape from a height.
Visiting the city of Split, as an imperative location, will give additional ingredient to your active vacation, whether you are visiting ancient and modern locations in the city or simply if you decide to enjoy by visiting numerous shops and shopping centres that offer an exceptional offer.
Accommodation looks better than in photos, it is beautiful. Everything beautifully clean and polished for new guests. Upon arrival, welcome drink was waiting for us in each of three fridges (beer, limo, juice, water, wine). Water in pool is crystal clear and water in whirlpool has been freshly changed. Coffee maker for ground coffee. Air conditioning in every house. Owner Zorana is pleasant and generous.
We rented this beautiful property with 10 people, from arrival to departure the hospitality was simply great! From snacks and drinks on arrival to wine and beer the night before departure! The rooms are super nice and everything was super clean! The kitchens are well equipped so you can have coffee and juice first thing in the morning! The bathrooms with washing machines are also equipped with detergent! Really all in all super nice!! Thank you very much for everything and the nice time 😊👍🏼
This year we stayed in this beautiful villa from the end of July to August 8, 2024. It was simply incredibly beautiful here. We've been to Croatia several times and know some villas with pools etc. - but this one surpassed them all.
